A New Space for Community, Wellbeing and Nature
Salford City Roosters Green Community Hub

Over the past few months, we’ve been gathering ideas and listening to what our community would like to see in our new Green Community Hub. We’re delighted to share the first concept design, created by our landscape architect, which brings together many of those ideas into an exciting vision for the future.
Some of the key features include:
- ðģ Log circle and natural play areas for children to enjoy safely.
- ð Espalier fruit trees, raised planters and picnic spaces to grow, share and enjoy fresh food.
- ðŠī Sensory paths, quiet corners and pergolas for relaxation, wellbeing, and connection with nature.
- ð Wildflower meadows, insect hotels and bird boxes to support local wildlife.
This is an important next step in shaping a space that belongs to all of us – a garden that will grow alongside our rugby club, and support both physical and mental wellbeing across the community.
ð We’ll be holding our next Steering Group meeting on Tuesday 16th September at 5.30pm at the clubhouse. This is a great opportunity to see the plans in person, ask questions, and share your views.
We are now entering a period of consultation – and your feedback matters. Please take a look at the design, think about how you’d like to use the space, and get in touch with your ideas.
